Moorland Trek: Continue to Horombo Hut (3,700 meters) through the glades and moorlands, with breathtaking views and a night spent at camp. Saddle Camp: Reach Kibo Hut (4,700 meters) by crossing the saddle between Kibo and Mawenzi, preparing for your summit attempt. Summit Attempt: Make an early ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,896 meters) via Gilman’s Point, the highest point in Africa, and enjoy the sunrise from the summit. Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :

Nairobi to Arusha

Morning: Depart from Nairobi by shuttle bus, heading to Arusha.
Afternoon: Continue to Moshi, where you’ll check into Mountain Inn for an overnight stay.
Evening: Relax and prepare for the upcoming trek.

Day 2 :

Transfer to Marangu Gate and Climb to Mandara Hut

Morning: Transfer to Marangu Gate to start your ascent.
Afternoon: Begin your trek through the lush rainforest to Mandara Hut, situated at 2,750 meters (9,000 feet).
Evening: Overnight at Mandara Hut, acclimatizing to the altitude.

Day 3 :

Trek from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Morning: Depart Mandara Hut and trek through the moorlands towards Horombo Hut, located at 3,700 meters (12,000 feet).
Afternoon: Enjoy stunning views of the Kilimanjaro peaks as you hike.
Evening: Overnight stay at Horombo Hut, where you can rest and acclimate further.

Day 4 :

Ascend to Kibo Hut

Morning: Continue your ascent past “Last Water” to the saddle between Kibo and Mawenzi.
Afternoon: Arrive at Kibo Hut, positioned at 4,700 meters (15,000 feet).
Evening: Overnight at Kibo Hut, preparing for the summit attempt.

Day 5 :

Summit Attempt – Kibo to Horombo via Gilman’s Point and Uhuru Peak

Early Morning: Begin your summit attempt at 2:00 a.m., ascending through steep scree to Gilman’s Point at 5,681 meters (18,640 feet).
Sunrise: Continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,896 meters (19,340 feet), to witness breathtaking views.
Afternoon: Descend back to Horombo Hut for an overnight stay, reflecting on your achievement.

Day 6 :

Descend from Horombo Hut to Moshi

Morning: Start your descent from Horombo Hut to the park gates.
Afternoon: Transfer to Moshi and check into Mountain Inn for an overnight stay.
Evening: Rest and celebrate your successful climb.

Day 7 :

Return to Nairobi

Morning: Depart from Moshi and head towards Arusha.
Afternoon: Continue the journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
