Refund and Cancelation Policy

1. Introduction At Safari Booking Kenya, we strive to provide excellent services. However, we understand that plans may change. This policy outlines our terms for cancellations, refunds, and changes, ensuring clarity and fairness while protecting both our clients and our business.

2. Deposit and Booking Fee

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% or $100 (whichever is higher) is required to confirm a booking.
  • For tours costing $100 or less, full payment is required upon booking and is considered non-refundable.

3. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made in writing via email to reservations@safaribookingkenya.com. Refunds will be processed as follows:

  • 60 days or more prior to departure: Full refund minus the deposit and any non-refundable expenses such as accommodation and third-party fees.
  • 30-59 days prior to departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost, minus non-refundable expenses.
  • Less than 30 days prior to departure: No refunds will be issued.

4. Modifications to Bookings

  • Modifications requested more than 30 days before the tour will be accommodated based on availability, subject to a change fee and any cost differences.
  • Modifications within 30 days of departure may be treated as cancellations and subject to the applicable cancellation fees.

5. Non-Refundable Services Some services, such as permits, park fees, flights, and accommodation, may be fully non-refundable regardless of the cancellation timeframe. Clients will be informed of any non-refundable services at the time of booking.

6. Force Majeure Safari Booking Kenya is not liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by unforeseen events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, or strikes. In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule your booking or offer credits where possible but cannot guarantee refunds.

7. Early Termination If a client chooses to terminate their tour early or is forced to end it due to personal reasons, no refunds will be issued for unused portions of the tour.

8. Travel Insurance We strongly recommend all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. Safari Booking Kenya is not responsible for losses arising from failure to obtain travel insurance.

9. No-Show Policy Failure to show up for the tour on the agreed date without prior notification will result in a 100% cancellation fee. No refunds will be provided for missed services.

10. Refund Process Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 30 business days after the cancellation request is confirmed. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method or credited toward future bookings as agreed.

11. Amendments to the Policy Safari Booking Kenya reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will apply to all future bookings but not to those already confirmed. We recommend clients review this policy before confirming their booking.
